Used Product For: 18 Months

Primary Use: My children's (ages 19 months and 6 weeks old) naps and at night time in the nursery. They currently share one room.

Pros: The clear picture. The sound is great. The quality of the picture is wonderful. And the fact that the monitor is portable is awesome! I can go outside in the yard with no worries.

Cons: I thought I would be able to view the entire room.

Additional Comments: I bought it after I had my first child, who is now 19 months old. We have loved the video monitor since the day we plugged it in. It has saved me from worries and running into the nursery several times more than necessary. Now we have a 6-week-old baby girl, and it is wonderful to watch her any time.

Used Product For: 2 Years

Primary Use: We have a camera set up in our kids room upstairs. We monitor it from our bedroom and living room, both downstairs.

Pros: This video monitor has a great range even in an environment with a lot of barriers. We have the camera upstairs and at the other end of the house and the picture is very clear. We also like the portability of the video monitor - I bring it around the house with me throughout the day. I am purchasing a second camera as we just had our third child and need to monitor another room upstairs.

Cons: Not really - we were concerned about interference with the 900Mhz but we have had none. We had a larger unit by Summer Infant (Quiet Sounds non portable TV style) and the monitor went out after two years. We haven't had any problems with this one and we alternate with battery and AC power with no problems.

Where Purchased: NextStepBabyMonitors

Shopping Experience: Great. Purchasing a second camera.

Used Product For: 1 Week

Primary Use: Monitoring twin boys.

Pros: Portability, large screen, good color and night vision.

Cons: Neighbor had exact same system so we actually saw each other's babies! Had to exchange for a different system on 2.4 GHz.

Where Purchased: NextStepBabyMonitors

Shopping Experience: Very good. Exchange process was easy.

Used Product For: 1 Week

Primary Use: Baby monitor for nursery with newborn.

Pros: I am able to discern when I "need" to go into the nursery and when my infant is just getting herself to sleep. It helps a great deal in not disturbing her sleep time.

Cons: Some static during the night (the monitor side).

Where Purchased: On-line
