John (15 months old) enjoyed carrying the Clever Cards around. I liked that they were portable and fit into his little hands perfectly. The art was bright and friendly, and overall the product was well made and appeared to be durable.
John enjoyed the different textures that they had. He especially liked the snake tail and the soft "feathers" on the birds head.
I think it's neat how they designed the pieces. On one side was the textured monkey tail and the other side used the same shape, but it turned into a swan neck, very creative.
At least for John, the bad part was since they were separate, he didn't want to sit still and hear the words. For him, they were more a self discovery card rather than a "book" for us to sit and read together.
It would be interesting to see what other kids thought since John's a little more on the active side, and a bit older then the suggested age for this product (which is 6+ months). I think the price seems a little high for what was there and what John got out of it, but it's a speciality product you won't easily find in just any deptartment store.
