Used Product For: 2 Weeks

Primary Use: (2-room system) Used for monitoring baby and toddler status throughout the day. The multiple camera support is ideal for households with more than one child.

Pros: Excellent viewing size! The cameras and monitor provide an extremely crisp picture. The cameras have much better night vision capability than expected. The daisy flower cameras are a hit with the kids.

2.4 GHz system can cause or receive interference from other home electronics, but with simple frequency management, one can eliminate the interference. Wi-fi systems can interfere, but their frequency can be selected to operate on a different channel than the cameras (and the camera channels are also selectable).

Cons: It would be a perfect system if the video display can be turned off to allow only the audio left on. Audio level LED's would also be nice.

Used Product For: 1 Night

Primary Use: (2-room system) To monitor my two daughters' rooms from my room.

Pros: The adorable, flexible "flower cameras", the larger monitor screen, good picture quality.

Cons: I ordered two cameras with this system, to be able to go back and forth between my daughters' two rooms. I read about the 'automatic scan feature' and assumed I'd be able to set it on "auto scan" to go b/t the two rooms all night.

Well, there IS an auto scan feature however, it scans all 4 channels (1,2,3 & 4). I only have two cameras...so when it goes to Channels 3 & 4 there's a static screen for 5 secs or so on each, with LOUD static noise. There should be a way to just go back & forth b/t Channels 1 & 2 while skipping Ch 3 & 4.

This is an ideal system if you just want to use 1 camera (no auto scan) or if you want to purchase 4 cameras (1 for each channel), but to use the auto scan feature (if you only have 2 or 3 cams) is a nuisance because of the noise on the Channels not in use.

Also, if you have a 2.4 GHz cordless phone, it messes up the picture & audio while you're on the phone.
