Pros: We both feel that the video monitor has completely changed the quality of the care we take of our little girl. She is so quiet in her crib that before the video camera, we were completely wrong in thinking what time she woke up. As a consequence, we were putting her down way too late for naps. Also, now I can keep an easy eye on her from my bed, and know when she's awake in the middle of the night.
We chose the DaisyCam because we could clip it to the crib. We felt that a monitor that had to stand on a nearby piece of furniture would be very limiting in terms of how we organized the baby's furniture. Also, we wanted a handheld monitor that we could carry around the house with us. We think both of these features made this the best choice on the market for us.
Cons:
The one thing I know could be better is that the strength of the clip is a little weak. That would be easy for the manufacturer to improve.
Comments: I don't think any parent should be without a video monitor.
